About once every six months, my sister gets a generous 40% off everything from The Bodyshop - so naturally, when it comes around I take huge advantage of this and splash out on some amazing products! This time round I didn't buy as much as usual, but the products that I did buy were a bit more pricey and worth more for their money. I've decided to dedicate this post to sharing a select few of my favorite purchases with you, so lets get going!
Mango Exfoliating Sugar Body Scrub:
This super fruity scrub has a regular spot on my shelf and I actually haven't even gotten through my first tub yet, but I decided to buy a second because I know that once I run out, I'm definitely going to want more! This is, without a doubt, one of the BEST body scrubs I have ever used for top exfoliation, scrubbing those dead skin cells away and leaving the skin feeling super soft. From the moment you start rubbing it into the skin, you can literally feel it beginning to work its refining magic as it strips away any dead and unwanted skin cells, leaving the skin feeling super smooth, soft and silky. Not to mention it smells absolutely INCREDIBLE, with its gorgeous strong essence of mango.
British Rose Petal-Soft Bath Foam:
Now, I've never actually used any kind of bath foam before but I assume its just a lot like bubble bath - so you literally just pour it into the bathtub and run the water, and then it creates lots of foam and bubbles. Who doesn't love the sound of that?! That's why I just had to pick this up, and with the added scent of classic British Rose I literally felt so drawn to this product! It can be used as a really fun addition to bath time, but with such a luxurious smell it can also add a really sophisticated and relaxed feel to your time in the tub, so a definite 12/10 for that! The packaging also makes me think that this could possibly last you for quite a while and has a 12 month shelf lifespan so definitely worth the money. I'm currently writing this on a rare Sunday off from work so I shall definitely be getting in the tub and taking full use of this later!
Pink Grapefruit Body Mist:
Oh my goodness you guys, this might well be one of my favorites of 2017 so far! This product is a simple body mist, but with a smell that's out of this world! One or two spritz is all you need and you'll be left with an all-over deliciously summery scent. It literally smells like summer in a bottle and anyone that knows me knows that this is all I need from a product and I'll be absolutely hooked for life! It also seems like it's going to be super long lasted as well, because as I mentioned, a couple of sprays is really all you need, any more and you might possibly spill over into a little too 'overpowering'! But in this case, less is most certainly more and this way you can get a lot of use out of it. A win win on this one!
Pomegranate and Raspberry Scented Candle:
Now this last one I didn't actually purchase myself as I felt it was a little too pricey for what it is, so my sister actually picked this one up for me instead which was super lovely of her! I literally had to restrain myself from buying it myself because literally, as soon as I came across this candle my heart skipped a few beats (yes, over a candle - how sad!). The scent of it sounded AMAZING - pomegranate and raspberry? Urm, yes please!!! And actually, I didn't know The Bodyshop actually even made candles until now, so it was a lovely little surprise and just made me want it even more - I suppose it's the novelty of it really, isn't it?! So now my room has a lovely relaxed feel to it when I burn this gorgeous candle in the evening, and not to mention how beautiful the rest of the house smells as well now thanks to it's potent fragrance. On a side note: aside from the actual candle, the packaging itself is enough to reel anyone in - with it's compact size, neat display and very bright, creative and colorful design.
